Cleaning & removing coffee residues

Coffee residues are often the cause of defective seals or even defective components. Use this to reach coffee residues in difficult places Paint brush (eBay item no.: 284015765537).

Care of the seals

How can I easily remove my seals?

Try those seals preferably with one hook screwdriver (eBay item no.: 284006472583) to remove. With this Tool come too difficult built places ran. Through this don't hurt your fingers nor will these Dirty.

Care of the O-rings

In order to give the seals a long life, we recommend that you lightly grease the O-rings when you first use them. However, please ensure that you only lubricate those seals that do not come into direct contact with the coffee. Why?

Because grinding the coffee releases enough oils to self-lubricate the seals. Here the fat can even lead to defects, because coffee residues stick there and can thus clump together.

After cleaning your brew group, you should not forget to lubricate the slideways with food grade fat. This increases the lubricity and also the durability of your seals.
