New CD , Polish release

GusGus are back with their new album 'DanceOrama' which brings an exciting, melodic-rich hybrid of 80s and 90s party and rave sounds. In addition to the voices of Margrét Rán (VÖK) and Daniel Ágúst, the disc will also feature Earth and Högnie vocals again!

DanceOrama is a place where you can experience infinite freedom, no matter your style or gender. Nine tracks from the album are euphoric pop anthems and futuristic instrumental journeys. Following Mobile Home, on which Icelanders unveiled techno-pop set in New Wave history, DanceOrama satisfies the longing for euphoric, sensual, dance pop. The album consists of five instrumental tracks and four songs at rates between 105-158 bpm, exploring different influences from the 1980s and 1990s. This strange fusion of techno, trance, italo-disco, house and pop evokes the severity and innocence of musical experiences from previous decades. The first single announcing the release is "When We Sing" featuring VÖK.

An exciting surprise for loyal fans will certainly also be 'Breaking Down', which has been enthusiastically received at GusGus concerts over the years. The song in which we hear Earth and Högnie vocals was recorded during a session for the album 'Mexico' and has not been published until now.

"This is without a doubt my favourite GusGus album since 'Arabian Horse'

legendary Michael Mayer, head of "Kompakt" label.
