T he Tonka Bubble Fire Truck was made of high-impact plastic, designed to stand up-to continuous bubble play and was actually two toys in one. Its detachable fireman "Chief Bubbles," which was designed and sculpted by artist Rod Cameron, was the handle to a bubble wand that allowed a child to blow bubbles from the body of the fireman, itself a bottle of bubbles. A second child would push the fire truck along and generate a steady stream of bubbles that would emerge from within the truck.
