The top is embroidered with "SONY". The back is embroidered with "MPEG IMX".
MPEG IMX is a 2000 development of the Digital Betacam format.
The front has a sturdy snap to hold the top and brim together. Unsnapped, it looks like a Super Mario Brothers hat.
Tag has "MADE IN USA" but does not say what it is made of. Appears to be a wool cap/hat.
