This unique 26 inch necklace combines Egyptian amber I purchased in Luxor, Egypt in 1990 with coin silver beads I purchased at the Antique-Sellers Street in the Historical Kadikoy Market on the Asian Side of Istanbul, Turkey in 1991.

The large center 1 ½ inch diameter with a length of 1 - 5/16 inches silver metal bead is not silver quality per my silver test kit.

 

The remaining 6 Turkish beads are sterling quality silver. They range in diameter from 1 ¾ to ¾ inches and from 1 ½ to ¾ inches in length.

 

There are a total of 28 Egyptian amber beads. The eight large amber beads measure 1 ¼ inches long with a diameter of ¾ inches. The 20 smaller amber beads measure ½ inch in length with a diameter of 3/8 of an inch. There are also 2 small natural coral beads on each side of the center silver metal bead.
