US Navy Seal in Dress Blues Uniform Looking Out on Ocean from Deck of Ship. This fine art print has a 10.5" x 10.5" image size, and is printed on a sheet of 13" x 13" archival paper. It is an Epson ink jet fine art print of one of my most popular oil paintings. When a friend passed away and I went to the funeral, his son showed up wearing his dress blues uniform and sat right in front of me. By the end of the funeral, I had memorized the uniform and the back of the man's head. I went home, found some photos to use as references and did this painting. I have entered it in several art shows and won my category in most cases. One judge stated, "A painting... I think that asks more questions than it gives answers. I found it to be intriguing, mysterious, and a bit haunting. Surreal... It has a feeling of evoking the past and the present, but not the future. Very thought-provoking, and a well-executed painting." This square version is for those who just want the sailor. If you'd like the original of the full oil painting, it is still available. Just let me know. The print is on medium weight, 100% cotton fiber paper and features an acid-free base with an elegant velvet surface. Treat it the way you would a fine watercolor: do not allow it to get wet and do not place it in direct sunlight. With a minimum of care, it should last for many generations. I like to mat it in an off-white, acid-free mat with a 3" margin all the way around. Leave a .25" gap on all four sides between mat opening and image for signature to show in bottom right. - Waitsel - FREE SHIPPING
