The map is copperplate engraved in hand coloring with a decorative title cartouche and mile scale.

Jean Baptiste Bourguignon d'Anville (1697–1782) was a French geographer.
Paolo Santini (1729-1793) was an Venetian engraver known for his fine cartographic engravings.
