The Game:
Chess is a board game played between two players. Chess is one of the world's most popular games, played by millions of people worldwide.
Chess is played on a square chessboard with 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight grid. At the start, each player (one controlling the white pieces, the other controlling the black pieces) controls sixteen pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. The object of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king, whereby the king is under immediate attack and there is no way for it to escape. There are also several ways a game can end in a draw.

32 total chess pieces are included, 16 dark and 16 light. Each
color has it's own corresponding fabric storage pouch. Game board
measures 18.5 x 18.25 x 0.125 inches when unfolded for game play - 9.25 x
6 x 0.50 inches when folded up for storage. An instruction booklet and
contact card are also included.
