This is a very good used condition square salad plate in the ivory colored Old Holland blank with a floral poppy design and silver trim that was produced by Universal Pottery, Cambridge, Ohio, circa 1940.  Replacements.com has the pattern identified as Universal Pottery unnamed (UN166). The piece is in very good used condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs that I can see.  There is crazing of the glaze throughout the piece as shown in the photos.  The second plates some protein marks as shown in photos 9-14.  The decoration is complete and bright.  All silver application is even and complete with some minor sliver missing here and there.  The piece is well marked as shown in the photos.  The first plate is shown in photos 1-7.  The second plate is shown in photos 8-15.  The square salad plates are about 7 1/8th inches across.  At the time I have two plates (as shown in the last photo for demonstration purposes only), each plate priced separately.  pI have several listing of this pattern currently available in my store.   I have moved to a smaller house.  I do not have enough room for my stuff plus stock from vintage/antiques booths I had across the Midwest .  I have a lot of these items pack for over 10 years.  As I unpack the boxes the contents will be listed. I do combine ship as long as I feel the pieces will not be compromised. 

 

I package all items in recycled peanuts and bubble wrap.  All items are well protected. I will be responsible to file all breakage claims and paperwork due to recent policy changes within USPS.  I will need the buyer to provide photos of the damage and of the box and label on notification of breakage.  Save all items (Including packing material, box, and items broken and unbroken) until the claim is complete.  I will notify you when you can dispose of all items and packaging.

Please do not pay until I have invoiced you.  The shipping calculator makes mistakes that will overcharge you sometimes.  I will refund any cost over the actual postage, if it is over $1.50. I will never charge you additional postage for an item if the calculator makes a mistake in your favor.  If you feel you have been overcharged for postage let me know. 

 

International customers:  I use the eBay international shipping service.  I can not adjust the shipping. You will be billed by eBay the cost you see on your screen.  The invoicing and shipping's handled by eBay.  I do not see the invoice.   I just ship the item to the international shipping location in KY.
