The fabric is completely windproof which eliminates windchill and keeps cold air out. Warmloft insulation is a synthetic soft-touch insulation that provides excellent warmth while remaining highly breathable. The lightweight fill is highly compressible allowing for easy storage in a rucksack. The water-repellent properties allow the insulation to retain warmth even when wet, ideal for adding warmth in unpredictable weather. The attached hood features a detachable faux-fur trim to provide extra protection against the wind. Internal stormcuffs in the sleeves stop cold winds from being able to enter the jacket while also helping retain warm air inside the jacket.
