Map of western France salvaged from an antique Edwardian atlas, believed to date from 1909, that was beyond repair.

Features a small, inset map of the French regions, which also shows the pre-war boundaries of France. Also features a small map of the area surrounding Paris, as well as larger scale maps of Brest, Cherbourg, Le Havre and Calais.

The map shows some authentic signs of ageing and wear, as expected for a document of its age, and may exhibit slight damage from the salvaging process. There are some small fragments of another map on the back of the paper due to the original binding process, but this does not impact on the featured map.
