Installation Tips
1.BMW manual shift knob is easy to replace, the only tool you need is your hands.
2.To remove the old knob: Pull straight off, no twisting or bending, just pull perfectly straight off the end of the shifter.
3.Remark: Some knobs are so tight and might cause you to hit your face when taking it off, put the shifter in 2nd or 4th and pull slowly is the safest way.
4.To install the new knob: Slide it over the shift lever and press down firmly, you will feel the knob 'snap' into place.
5.Our gear knob is designed to be a very secure fit, if you can not fully click it into position, please smear some Vaseline petroleum jelly or lubricating oil then apply good downward pressure to enable correct fitment.
