Small pull handles / Sash lifts, Registered 1890, priced per pair, 3 pairs available at the time of writing

These are really quite special, high quality late Victorian sash pulls. The registered design number is from 1890, by the maker Edwin Showell & Son. A little look online will show there work would often be consider 'art metal work', and the foundry certainly had pedigree not least for hiring and training George Allart who's company still goes strongly today.

These had an incredibly thick layer of paint on them which had been carelessly applied some years ago. They've been carefully dry scrapped to remove the paint but leave the patina and Verdigris intact which is varied and i think blends with the tarnish  like they have been in situ untouched for all their 130 year life.

They really are quality. Please study the pictures as they form part of the description and will hopefully allow you to see the same depth of character i do.

Any questions please feel free
