THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW:
After climatologist Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid) is largely ignored by U.N. officials when presenting his environmental concerns, his research proves true when an enormous "superstorm" develops, setting off catastrophic natural disasters throughout the world. Trying to get to his son, Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal), who is trapped in New York with his friend Laura (Emmy Rossum) and others, Jack and his crew must travel by foot from Philadelphia, braving the elements, to get to Sam before it's too late.

A close group of friends (Luke Perry, Dan Cortese, Olivia d'Abo) vacationing in the Caribbean experiences terror upon encountering a boat thought to have sunk many years earlier.

4-hour tv miniseries that was broadcast in the United States on in two parts. It was later released to DVD. The miniseries focuses primarily on the city of Chicago as three unusual storm systems approach from the west, north and south and combine over the city to form a massive hurricane. At the same time a hacker-induced power outage cuts communications leaving a journalist and power officials scrambling to find the cause.
2103 THE DEADLY WAKE:
Proxate Corporation recruits a boozy former ship captain and offers him a new identity: Sean Murdoch. His job is to take charge of a large ship on one voyage. Once aboard, Murdoch realizes that the ship is a prison ship, and the cargo are criminally insane inmates. Murdoch's other problem: someone has planted bombs aboard the vessel.
