Der LIVEN 8bit warps kombiniert einen 8-bit Waveform Memory Synthesizer mit einem Step-Sequenzer, der speziell für die elektronische Live-Performance entwickelt wurde. Die 8-Bit-Sweep-Funktion, die man in klassischen Konsolen und Gameboys findet, wurde für den Liven 8-Bit-Warps angepasst und verbessert. Im Handumdrehen lassen sich klassische Soundtracks nachbilden oder einzigartige perkussive Sounds erzeugen. Das reaktionsschnelle DELAY und der BIT CRUSHER verändern die Patterns in Echtzeit.

Typische Tape-Loop-Sounds sind möglich indem man den Mix-Regler des Delays voll aufdreht und dann den Geschwindigkeitsregler verändert. Erzeugen Sie kurze Loops für Stutter-Effekte, oder verringern Sie die Geschwindigkeit und staunen wie der Loop mit jeder Wiederholung tiefer und tiefer wird. Mit dem BIT CRUSHER können Sie die Sampling-Rate des Liven 8-Bit-Warp reduzieren um ältere digitale Synthesizer zu emulieren, oder drehen Sie ihn voll auf für drastische Distortion Effekte. Mit dem CHORUS und FLANGER, lässt sich der 8-Bit-Warp in eine satte „Stringmachine“ verwandeln.

The Liven 8bit warps - All Black - is an "all-black" limited edition of the popular 8bits warps Groovebox.

LIVEN 8bit warps combines an 8-bit waveform memory synthesizer with a step sequencer, designed with a focus on live electronic performance. The classic 8-bit sweep function found in classic consoles and handhelds has been ported and upgraded for the Liven 8-bit warps. Use this function to recreate classic soundtracks or push it to the limit for unique percussive sounds. Use the highly responsive DELAY and BIT CRUSHER to transform your pattern in real time. Create disintegrating tape loop sounds by maxing out the delay’s mix control and then tweaking the speed control. Create short loops for machine gun effects, or drop the speed down to hear the loop drop deeper and deeper with each repetition. Use the BIT CRUSHER to dial down Liven 8-bit warp’s sampling rate. Use it in small doses to emulate early digital synths, or max it out for devastating distortion. Use the rich CHORUS and FLANGER to turn the 8-bit warps into a rich string machine.
