- Pendelfin was a company specialising in handcrafted and hand-painted collectable figurines based in Burnley, Lancashire, England.
- They have a very large fan club which covers Europe, North America and Australia. The company was started by Jean Walmsley Heap and Jeannie Todd in the early 1950s.
- It got the name from a famous hill near Burnley called Pendle Hill, which is famous for tales of witches and ghouls.
- Early examples are now becoming rare and very collectable.
- On a personal level I think the skill that has gone into painting these cute little figurines is remarkable, They should be much more widely appreciated.
