Hand-colored half-folio size. From the standard edition of ”Views in the Holy Land, Syria, Idumea, Arabia, Egypt and Nubia,” a six-volume set of 250 tinted lithographs by Louis Haghe from the original drawings done on the spot by David Roberts R. A. ( 1796-1864 ) and published by H. G. Moon, London during the years 1841-1849. Highly regarded for their accuracy these lithographs of Middle Eastern 19th century architecture and culture are unique and highly collectable.
