Hand spliced from 7/64 Amsteel cord. Simply larkshead around backpack straps or hammock suspension to keep gear handy and off of the ground. Whoopie sling adjusts from 7 - 15 inches. Whoopie opens wide enough to hold most slleeping pads. Also works great for keeping jackets accessible and attaching tarps to the outside of your pack. Can be used to secure trekking poles or ice axes when not in use.

7/64 Amsteel has a break strength of 1600 lbs., so it's plenty strong to hold any gear you need it to. However, the buries on these slings are only 2.5 inches, so they ARE NOT strong enough for load bearing uses. Not strong enough for hammock suspension purposes.
