1950's Formal Long Dress
(Please see measurements below)
Aqua Blue
The outside is made of a double layer of mesh type fabric. Has ruffles made in the front, not the back.
There is a full aqua blue slip type built inside. This is maybe a polyester? Very shinny. This slip is built into the top also.
Guessing this to be a womens size small (see measurements)
Measurements from the front:
Top of the dress to the bottom (not measuring the shoulder straps, these are made of the mesh also) 46"
Waist line to bottom of dress 35"
Waist width 12 ½"
This has approx. 64" flare at the bottom, very full from the waist down.
There is a zipper and clasp on the side. Zipper measures 12 ¾" Long Zipper works fine.
There is 8" Wide mesh used as the shoulder straps & a wide ribbon inside the mesh.
This dress is in good condition.
The inside lining is a little faded in some areas.
Has been in storage for a very long time, but I don't smell any odors.
