My bestselling sling just got better!

In an effort to continuously improve my slings, I added the following upgrades to my traditional desert camo & beige sling:

First, I upgraded all the leather to a thick (5-6 oz.), stylish, and pebbled, Ursa Moreno cowhide leather.

Second, I added a stylish, rubber ring under the brass grommet on the pouch. These added rubber rings reinforce the strength of the solid brass grommet and allows the grommet to get a firm grip on the leather without the edge of the grommet pinching the leather too tight.

In addition to these upgrades, you also get the following benefits from these hand-crafted slings:

The sling fits more comfortably in your hand: Because the finger loop and buttons are made of leather, they provide a far more comfy grip and release than a traditional sling's corded loop & knot.

The cord is made from a sturdy Mil Spec 7 Strand Type III Nylon Parachute Cord.

In addition to being hand-crafted in the USA, every supplier that I use to produce this sling is based right here in the USA and supports American manufacturing.

Please send me a message if you want a custom sized order with larger quantities and I can add to the number of slings available if my inventory allows.

Slings can be excellent resource:

·  For survival situations - as slings can be some of the most lightweight and effective kinds of survival gear!

·  Because rocks are almost everywhere (and therefore not provided in this auction), you’ll have access to an enormous (and cheap) supply of ammo!

·  Because the inside of the parachute cord contains 7 white strands of strong nylon material that can be used as fishing string!

·  Because slings are lightweight and portable and won’t bog down your survival kit!

·  Because slings provide more velocity and distance than a slingshot.

·   For geocaching treasure! Shepherd slings can be great items to leave in a remote geocaching location (along with the QR code pictured above), as those who find the sling can find AND use their newly discovered treasure! The QR code pictured above can be printed and placed with the sling in the geocaching location, scanned with a cell-phone (by the person who finds it), and the code will send you to my video on how to throw a rock with a shepherd sling :)

·   For teaching the background of biblical stories: See, for example 1 Sam. 17 (David & Goliath); or Judges 20:16 (Benjamites who were remarkably accurate with slinging stones)

How do I use this sling?

·   See the following YouTube video, which contains a brief demo on how to use this sling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5Yo9_zEg28

·    While slings are fun, keep in mind that slings should never, under any circumstances be used to harm other people. Always keep safety first, and look out for others!
