The
hard drive is 80 GB, a bit less after formatting. It boots to Mac OS
10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) after being totally wiped. Note that this model cannot run Classic applications.
The power port, and AirPort are tested working. The optical drive (DVD/CD) does not work: I tried to insert disks, and the computer rejected each one. The computer is sold as not having a working DVD/CD drive. I
have not tested the other ports/connections, and their
status is as-is/untested. The trackpad works. All keys are tested
working.
The display occasionally shows small lines or glitches. I found that booting into safe mode seemed to stop this, though I only ran safe mode for about 10 minutes. Changing the display dimensions temporarily caused the lines to go away, although it once caused the computer to restart. Overall, the cosmetic condition of the case appears normal
given its age with some scuffs/scratches. There's no battery. There are scuffs and even dents, especially on the top case, that are normal for a computer of its age. Several case screws are missing. See photographs for
condition. Being old and electronics, this is sold as-is.
