My opinions on the lens -

The Sankor lens first intrigued me when i saw a 75mm projector lens at a speed of f2 (75mm or, 3 inch projector lenses seems to be very good in all departments from what I've owned) and this one was no exception 😉

I mounted it and boom! Swirly bokeh!! I had no idea you could get a projector lens that produced swirly bokeh!!! Very surprising to see, and so beautiful.

I also noticed this lens produces a cooler color rendition than what you see, so some post processing might be needed if you like 🔵

If you shoot with the hood on, you will notice a slight vignette opposed to when the hood is off, i would personally use the hood for storage purposes as the flare control is pretty good too, only some interesting veils from the sun, or similar ☀

Colors are nice, once you correct that blue tint, and there is some heavy color fringing when shooting backlit on darker subjects

The swirl exhibited by the Sankor is just pleasant and beautiful when used right, sharpness in the middle is great, but away from the centre third, you notice sharpness dying off pretty quickly (typical for swirly bokeh lenses) 😵

To sum it up, i very much think this lens is a one-of-a-kind!
