The gold triangular dentilation at the top is in excellent condition for its age. There are several flea bites missing from the color.
In researching this item, I presented it to several groups who quickly identified the model number but no one was able to identify the name of the pattern. As the history of Fostoria goes, other companies would purchase these as blanks and add their own designs and we have the consensus that this is one of those rarities.
One gentleman described this pattern as "a new unicorn", meaning a highly desired but so rare it is almost un-findable.
