For Sale is an incredible 1970 TYPE 1 Original Photo of The Who. In this rare photo The Who is seen performing at the Isle of Wight Festival which was the most visible classic concerts ever held. The band was comprised of Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Jon Entwistle & Keith Moon. The band was still on their 18 month tour promoting the "Tommy" album. This album legitimized them as a superstar band making them solely making each of them millions. This was their second time performing at this week long festival that took place on a island with the hottest bands. This 1970 festival was the largest festival ever staged including, oh yes the infamous "Woodstock", with attendance being close to a million fans. Jimi Hendrix had already performed with the fans booing him. The Who would perform winning the fans over again.

This photo has taken by legendary rock and roll photographer Laurens Van Houten. Its dated to August 30th 1979 and is Credited to "Laurens Van Houten". The size is 8 x 10 inches and is in Excellent Condition. I love that this photo was taken behind the stage.
