This cassette tape features the iconic reggae band Black Uhuru and their album "Chill Out". The tape is a standard jewel case and was released in 1982 under Island Records. The album showcases the band's signature style from the 1980s.


Roots Reggae group, formed 1972 in Kingston, Jamaica. One of the most popular reggae acts ever and the first one to win a Grammy. Founded by Derrick "Duckie" Simpson, Don Carlos and Rudolph "Garth" Dennis. Rose to international fame in the '80s, when they were joined with the rhythm section of Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespeare and with Michael Rose as leadsinger. After his departure Rose was replaced by young singers like Junior Reid and Andrew Bees.
