This PS3 is not your average Backwards Compatible PS3, as it has been brought back from the dead by receiving a GPU transplant from a newer, working PS3. This transplant will allow this console to work for years to come without fear of the dreaded Yellow Light of Death while running cooler and quieter!
This repaired console has numerous scratches and scuffs on the case all over. This console may not look like a collectors item,
but it will serve your PS3, PS2, and PS1 desires for many years to come.
This console will ship with 4.90 Original Firmware.
I will warranty this console for 6 months from purchase date.

All Work Done:
Replaced original 90nm RSX GPU with 40nm variant from a newer slim PS3 using leaded solder
(Also all required mods associated with the swap:
Resistor mod,
Lower RSX core voltage from 1.2v--> 0.95v (BD3504 method),
and Syscon retraining.)
Delidded both CELL(CPU) and new RSX(GPU)
Applied fresh thermal paste to both RSX and CELL
Verified original NEC/TOKIN capacitors were still in good condition.
Stress tested new RSX with 1 hour on then 1 hour off cycles to cause the most physical stress.
Passed after ~20 Cycles.
Replaced original 400 BD drive with newer revision 410 drive for greater reliability.
Cleaned laser, disk pickup rollers, and other drive mechanisms.

Replaced RTC battery.
Minor cleaning and dust removal.
