I did.

This time, we will be releasing 3 titles of great performances and recordings representing the analog era and early digital era as SuperAudio CD hybrids, from the masterpieces of Deutsche Grammophon, the former Philips, and the former TELDEC.

■Wagner who fully demonstrated the charm of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

This collection of Wagner's overtures and preludes, recorded from 1992 to 1994, is an album that follows this trend, with a well-balanced arrangement of famous pieces from the early ``Dutchman'' to the middle ``Tristan'', and is an excellent introduction to Wagner. The song selection is perfect.

In terms of performance, the magnificent legato sound at the beginning of the ``Meistersinger'' prelude or the ``Dutchman'' overture, which vividly captures the swells of the sea, are the best examples of Barenboim's characteristic drama.

On the other hand, the beautiful legato of the wind instrument ensemble at the beginning of the "Tannhäuser" overture, the soft and delicate sound in the soft range of the "Lohengrin" prelude, or the mysterious sound creation in "Tristan", which is his specialty, are all expressed by the conductor. This is an expression that fully demonstrates Barenboim's ability as a person.

At this time, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra still had legendary brass players Adolph Herseth (trumpet) and Dale Clevenger (horn), and the overwhelming brilliance of the brass section led by them was " It is fully demonstrated in the prelude to Act 3 of "Lohengrin".

■The level of perfection is so high that you might mistake it for a session recording.

The Chicago Symphony Orchestra's recordings since Barenboim took over as music director have been done on the Erato and TELDEC labels, both under Warner Music, but this Wagner album was recorded at the time of the transition from Erato to TELDEC. was.

Barenboim and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's recordings were first released on Elato, and it appears that they were later transferred to TELDEC, where they became more serious, so this Wagner album, one of the first to be released on the TELDEC label, was the gateway to the TELDEC era. You could say it's an open image.

Each voice of the orchestra is recorded with a real presence and a thick sound, perfectly reproducing his image of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's sound filling the orchestra hall.

This is the first remaster since its release.

As in the past, when creating the SACD hybrid, we made no compromises, from the selection of the master to be used to the final DSD mastering process.

Especially for DSD mastering, we use "Esoteric Mastering".

Introducing ESOTERIC's carefully tuned top-of-the-line equipment Master Sound Discrete DAC and Master Sound Discrete Clock.

Also, by generously using MEXCEL cables, he was able to convert the information contained in the original master into a disc with a smooth sound.
