Antique Royal Winton, Grimwades "Versaille" Pattern Lidded Urn

This is a big boy at 30cm by roughly 16cm wide - and is a very rare survivor as Winton china is brittle.

I believe made in England, circa 1916-17

Striking black and white stripe design with contrasting band of colourful flowers
The bacstamp predates Royal Winton and says Grimwades Winton.

Condition: Good overall condition - there is the tiniest hairline crack to the rim and heavy crazing all over lid and urn as you always find with Winton china.
There are no chips and the finial has not come off and been reattached.

Light wear to the gold accents on the rim, but really bright, bold colours throughout.

Due to crazing never soak, only clean with a damp cloth and never dishwash.

UK only sorry
