These are all Bach Trumpet mouthpieces that have been professionally custom-bent for me over the years. Most either at Best Music in Oakland Ca, or JL Brass in Midtown Manhattan. Every one plays beautifully.

If you have an overbite, a bent shank is a good way to have the trumpet face up and out, toward the audience, instead of down at the floor. it used to be a much more common thing back in the 30's, 40's and so on. Trumpeters who used (or still use) bent pieces include:
Miles Davis, Shorty Rogers, Tomasz Stanko, and Chuck Findley. And in the classical world, Armando Ghitalla and Donald Reinhardt were both known to recommend bent shanks to some of their students!
Some of these pieces are real vintage treasures - New York Bachs from the 20's and 30's. Some are more contemporary. Almost all have a small to medium angle to the bend. A few of the 10 1/2C's are with a big angle, and are labeled accordingly.
