Nice dust jacket that is glossy and undamaged, no tears or wrinkles, minimal wear or soiling.  Binding is tight and solid. Boards are very clean, good sharp corners, no wear on edges or spine. Interior pages are tightly bound, flat and white, with no damage, wrinkles, tears, or writing. 

The author Ivor Davies spent his career working in the British Motorcycle Industry, mostly for the Triumph Company as an advertising manager. A lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, he later ran the motorcycle show at Earl's Court.

The book provides a glimpse into the Triumph Company at Meriden up to the time of the formation of the workers union. It includes a large collection of previously unpublished photographs.
