The Little Mermaid Ursula Animation Drawing.

The Little Mermaid Ursula Animation Drawing

(Walt Disney, 1989). "Would I kid you?

Play a trick? Like I told you, I don't do that anymore." This rare animation drawing features the evil sea witch Ursula. She appears as cunning as ever, assuring Ariel that she has "repented, seen the light, and made a switch". The unfortunate soul in her hand, visible in the first drawing, begs to differ. This marvelous animation drawings was created for a verse of "Poor Unfortunate Souls" that had to be cut due to time constraints. It served the purpose of further convincing Ariel that making the deal was the right choice and would have been included at around 42:40. The graphite with color pencil figures of Ursula vary in size from around 5.5" x 7.75" to 8.5" x 8". The page number 75 in the bottom right and circled, indicating it was likely created by the character's supervising animator Ruben A. Aquino. There is minor handling and edge wear, faint superficial wrinkles, and some reinforced pegholes. Very Good condition overall.
