Antique Boudoir Lady Doll Composition Paper Mache 26" from Head to Toe Red Dress and Net Petticoat
Fair Condition
A large 26" boudoir doll in a red dress and matching hat. May be possibly French and possibly 1930s. There appears to be some embossed writing at the base of the shoulders in the back but it is difficult to read. The face is painted with arched eyebrows, dark eyeliner, blue eyes and a closed painted mouth. There are some hair eyelashes with more on the right eye than the left. The arms are in poor condition and are cracked all over. both hands are missing thumb tips.
The right foot is missing a high heel and the left foot has a chipped toe.
The doll is dressed in bloomer underwear, a net crinoline petticoat trimmed in lace,
and a red silk? dress with matching hat. It is not known if this is the original clothing for the doll.
