The Ginza Line is Japan's oldest subway, which opened in 1927 between Ueno and Asakusa. The 2000 type was active from around 1968 to 1993, and was once used in 6 formations with only the 2000 type lead car, as well as in combination with the 1800 type, 1300 type, 1500 type, etc. Eight cars of the 1500NN type, cars No. 1561 to No. 1568, were manufactured to compensate for the lack of vehicles transferred from the 2000 type to the Honancho Branch Line when it became a three-car train.
This is the last added car, and the side windows have the same shape as the 2000 type.
The product was introduced by the 01 series, the successor to the 2000 series, and the prototype type is a 6-car fixed formation when it was retired in 1993 with the same roof and body color.
