Curtiss Wright Employee pin Pan Am Clipper 314 Sterling 1936


This is an original not a reproduction.


It is an employee pin of the Pan Am Clipper ship, it has the distinctive wing over fuselage with 4 engines, tri rudders, and passengers port holes.


This airplane had the Wright twin cyclone engines. Installed in 1936 in this flying boat.

 

It is a small pin, measuring .45” across the wing span and .62” from front to tail.


The top of the wing is enameled red with Silver “Wright” spelled out across the wing.


On the back it is marked: Sterling

 

Screw back post is  missing nut

 

This  Yankee Clipper  is a scarce Curtiss Wright pin.
