Product Description
It is truly a masterpiece, a beautiful original, and one of a kind.
Napoleon III Marquetry Planter / Jardinière, burl of thuja, adorned with two Sevres porcelain medallions, one featuring floral decoration, the other depicting a bird. With a curved shape, it stands on four bronze ball feet and is embellished with finely crafted bronze detailing and an openwork gallery. The original zinc interior is intact, and it features bronze handles on each side. Please note: some minor, antique restoration work has been done.
