This listing is for an SSD drive with macOS Sonoma setup on it and not a complete system.

Please make sure to select the proper processor version or the SSD will not work.

macOS will only work with specific Graphics Processing Units and I use GT 640 & 740, but there are many others that will work so ask if you don't know if your GPU would work.

The SSD is plug and play as long as the system uses a OpenCore/macOS compatble graphics processing unit or GPU and I know what generation Xeon processor the system has installed as it can be either v3 or v4.  The only other requirements will be to have upgraded the BIOS to the newest version and afterwards making a few minor changes to the BIOS configuration.  

HP Z440 & Z660 systems are capable of running the newest release of mac OS Ventura and can support numerous Xeon E5 v3 and v4 processors including E5-2699 v3 or E5-2696 v3 2.3 GHz 45 MB 18 Core.  The SSD can make any HP Z440 or Z640 into a very powerful workstation that can support 18 cores or more depending on the system.  

As suggested in an article, "If your workflow consists of 4K video, 3D rendering, or VFX in applications like AVID, Premiere Pro, Blender, Ansys, or Houdini where the benefits of ECC RAM, more cache, and possible dual CPUs with a multitude of cores are advantageous, I heartily recommend Xeon" and programs like Autocad are single threaded and will work better with higher single core speed.

Includes only and SSD drive for HP Z440 and HP Z640 systems to install in your system.

Also note that the drive does not include any specific support for WiFi except for specific supported Realtek adapters, but there is no guarantee of functionality.
