This is a AdGuard ad blocking box, that is a single board computer with custom case, power adapter, ethernet cable and preconfigured with AdGuardAd blocking DNS software. The box is tested to ensure the pi-hole software and blocking functions work. AdGuard DNS ad blocking software has been preinstalled to the device by default.

The specific hardware I use for my AdGuard ad blocking devices may vary from the photos, due to market conditions and availability. All devices will have at least 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage; in use, the ad blocking device only uses 30% or the available RAM and 25% of storage space (300MB RAM & 2GB of storage). Additionally, the devices are preconfigured for a simple setup process, making them nearly plug and play.

An AdGuard box is a highly configurable and essential tool to help keep your family and network safe online, by blocking ads, Malware, Hackers, Explicit Material, Scams and Phishing sites. The box comes configured with ~500k web domains on the block lists. You can easily add and enable more entries to the blacklist as desired in the user interface. Once installed on your network and your router is configured to use the device as your DNS, your entire network including phones, gaming consoles/devices, tablets and computers are all protected. It does this by preventing devices from connecting to servers that host these ads and trackers. This means it can work on smart TVs and in ad-supported mobile apps. Your Internet will run faster and use less bandwidth because your devices aren’t automatically downloading ads. The Box can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without any problems and uses little power (<5W) and is totally silent due to a fan-less design. The software is run on Debian Linux OS with security updates set to automatically install.

Note: AdGuard cannot block native video ads/commercials on certain sites/apps like YouTube, Netflix, Peacock, ESPN and Hulu because they are streaming from the same server as the video you want to watch.

Setup is easy with the included instructions. User/Root access is available over WebUI and SSH with login credentials will be provided with the device. You need to have some basic computer/networking knowledge to configure your network to use this device.  We will provide basic setup instructions with the box and walk you through configuration to get you ad free fast. This devices does need to be wired by Ethernet to your router/modem/switch for optimum performance. The device comes with a responsive web user interface dashboard to view and control your device from any web browser on your network.
