Some sellers on eBay come up with low prices on the actual product, but charge outrageous prices for shipping! You end up paying a lot more that way!

Do not get tricked into this!

What is for sale, here is

One (1) Brand New Artistic Audio Replacement Belt for Marantz Turntables, models SLT-12, SLT-65, and ST-7. If you have one of these turntables, this belt will create the optimal amount of tension that your turntable platter and motor need to operate at designed specifications. It is made out of extremely high quality rubber, better than the rubber that the original belt was made from! This belt is Artistic Audio Part Number FRi-351.

These belts fit many other Marantz Turntables as well, I will be listing those in the future. If your turntable is not listed in my other offers, click on CONTACT SELLER (on a computer, the link is on the upper right side of this page, below seller information. On a tablet, the link is bellow the full description.

Maybe you can get free shipping on any item I sell?:
In the late 70s and early 80s, the company I worked for in Doraville, GA was the largest independent Marantz dealer in the Southeastern US. Like a lot of electronics manufacturers in the mid 80s, their objectives changed, and they became a less-perfect fit for our company. I started compiling my turntable and cartridge database in the mid 80s, and because of the timing and market changes, a bit of my Marantz data is incomplete.
I need some basic information and photos of several of these turntables listed below. This information will be used to expand my data and assist future customers. Anyone who owns one can find the information I am looking for. Please contact me if you own any of the following items:
  • SLT-12
  • SLT-65
  • ST-7, or any Marantz turntable not listed
  • Any Marantz Cartridge or Stylus (it must have the name Marantz printed on it)

About these Replacement Belts:

This is one (1) turntable drive belt that is much higher quality (better rubber means better accuracy with less deviation, higher elasticity, and longer life) that those competitors who are selling belts like this for around $10.00. The "$10 belt, and those in its price range are made with old technology and materials. The belt in this offer is not cut, like in the old days, it is precision molded to deliver factory specs, like when your turntable was new. You might be able to find a replacement, but that takes time and extra money. Do yourself a favor, spend a about $7 more bucks today, If you play 200 albums, $7 less than 3¢ per side. Your Marantz is worth that!
If your turntable lis listed here, the Artistic Audio belt in this offer meets manufacturer's original specifications for your Marantz turntable. The $10 belt guys can't say that.
The exact measurements of belts today varies slightly from those of years of production of these turntables. (This does not contradict the previous paragraph. I get weird looks from people at this point, but you should know the whole truth!) The primary reason is that the rubber made today is much higher quality than the original belts had. Higher quality rubber means higher elasticity. That means, in order to put the exact right amount of pressure between the platter and the spindle of the motor, the belt must be slightly smaller than the belt that was on the turntable originally. If the new belt was the exact same size, there would be too little pressure between the motor spindle and the platter, that might run now, but it will not belong before it slips a little every once in a while! I know some people, who are usually nuts about details, spend hours ordering belts and get them in and the "size is wrong". Some people selling this belt do get the size wrong, but when they get the correct belt (that is, one that puts the right amount of pressure on the motor spindle), the size isn't what they are expecting. Rest assured! These belts are the correct match for the turntables listed above.

The Artistic Audio FRi 351 has a List Price of $35.00. However, I purchase a ton of them from Artistic Audio, and I get a discount! That allows me to pass the savings along to you!
The price for the first 10 belts in this offer reflects an introductory offer, $15.88 for the FRi 351. If you want to buy one at the introductory price, click Buy it Now! These Artistic Audio belts can be (and regularly are) sold for a lot more money! They rival the performance of the original belts that Marantz used when your turntable was new. I purchase hundreds of various belts at a discount and I am offering you a chance to share the discount. I am doing this to build sales, get new customers, and establish a reputation on eBay as someone who is honest, fair, and has great deals on high quality products! And it is working!
