Complete Sten Mk3 10-rivet set for repair or build. One extra rivet is included for a total of 11 rivets. These are splined rivets and hold stronger than the originals. You will need to drill a hole using ideally a #31 drill bit although an 1/8" bit may work if not removing the zinc plating. You can then use an inexpensive nut driver to easily drive them in, or you can hire Rosie the Riveter's two Lilliputian cousins to install them for you. These rivets have higher-domed heads like the original type so they look completely authentic. The photo with the red background shows typical rivets sold by other vendors (and at higher prices) which have a flatter head which as I previously mentioned is not the same profile as the originals. These rivets are zinc-plated for corrosion protection. If you plan on bluing or parkerizing your Sten you will need to remove the zinc with a short bath in 1:1 muriatic acid/water or 24 hours in full-strength white vinegar. There are plenty of YouTube videos on zinc removal. If removing the zinc plating I would use only a #31  bit for the hole. If you are planning to paint your Sten then obviously you do not need to remove the zinc plating.
