No stamp, commonly seen in earlier pieces (out of catalog).  

The glaze is a disagreeable take to the clay due to over or under firing in the kiln. 

The base of the bulb portion is a dark grey with a few spots of chocolate brown 

This glaze has no official name, as Blue Mountain named the green hues, harvest gold, cobalt blue, mocha, red, brown, and pewter.

Over time, collectors have agreed to the name 'Aurora Borealis', and use this term within clubs and shows. 

Three chips on the rim, two larger, one tiny, colored in.  Can be repaired or painted in better for display. 

Despite the chips, this vase would be a great purchase for a true collector of BMP, just to have this era of a piece, and the opportunistic mis-fire.

Measures approximately 5 x 3 x 3 inches (H x W x L).  

The base is 9.5 inches around at widest.
