This darling little doll is a vintage Ideal Campbell Kid “magic skin” doll, which was made in the 1950s, making her approximately 69 years old at the time of this writing.

She measures approximately 10” tall and is marked “Campbell Kid Made By Ideal Toy Corp.” on the back of her neck.  She has a vinyl swivel head, with the rest of her one-piece body made of latex magic soft skin stuffed with cloth, molded painted brown curly hair, big black painted side glancing eyes with painted eyelashes, a little button nose, a closed coy smile with red painted lips, and big puffy rosy cheeks.  Her stuffed one-piece body does not allow her to sit very easily.

She is in fairly good condition for her age.  Her fingers and toes are all intact, but her hair color is faded as are her eyebrows.  The stuffing in her neck has settled somewhat, making her head lean a little to the left.  Her magic skin has begun to crack/tear at the back of her neck and has a small tear on her tummy, which was repaired with superglue.  Her skin has also begun to discolor/darken (which is normal for the magic skin dolls).

She comes wearing a lovely little outfit that includes a blue top with yellow and green frog designs, white ric-rac on the hem, and a yellow button at the top, a pair of white lacy panties, white shorts, white lacy socks, and white faux lace-up sneakers with blue highlights.  She also comes with multiple outfits including her original red and white polka dot top and oversized droopy white panties, a vintage pink and white jumpsuit, a new red sundress with hearts and adorned with ric-rac and a red rosette ribbon at the waist, a pink floral dress with birds and matching pink panties (has tape residue on the back; see pictures), a pale pink plastic purse that opens, and a pair of white lace-up shoes to complete her outfits.

Sold as is; no returns; no refunds.
