These plates are stunning, the colors and detail are really beautiful. There is a pre-marriage scene with people on both plates - it looks like a table, and on one side is an older couple (possibly parents?). On the other side is a younger couple (a young couple asking for permission of marriage?). If you know, let me know! Since the pomegranate represents good fertility, prosperity and abundance this is my best guess.
