Spider-Man 3 MOVIE crew hat - a limited number of these were made and given to the crew who worked on the movie which was shot on the Sony Lot in Culver City, California and in New York City. Second unit work was done in Cleveland. Choice of design was overseen by the producer, Laura Ziskin who produced all three of the Sam Raimi / Tobey Maguire Spidey movies. Laura, who was a bad ass, also was the first woman to produce the Oscars (2002 and again in 2007). Laura, who we lost to cancer, also created STAND UP 2 CANCER along with journalist Katie Couric and fellow movie industry titan, Sherry Lansing (the first woman to run a movie studio - Paramount).
The hat is heavy brushed cotton - with a luxe feel. I couldn't get the silver in the web to pop in the photos but the thread is silver and has real dimension. The embroidery is very nice - raised, thick patterns make the web and the number 3.
Never worn and in perfect condition - the tab in the back in velcro.
