Eva Lewin Richter Meyerowitz (1899 - 1994) was an Anthropologist and Photographer, and she was appointed Queen Mother of Ghana in 1950. This scarce piece includes a number of stunning photographs and illustrations throughout the text, as it discusses the State and culture of Akan. This would be an excellent find for anyone interested in the History and Culture of the Akan people, as told in the mid 20th century.
