This is a lens which i have modified from an old slide projector lens 🤓

ᴍʏ ᴏᴘɪɴɪᴏɴꜱ ᴏɴ ᴛʜᴇ ʟᴇɴꜱ -

The first thing i noticed when looking back at the images produced by the Dimaron, is there is very obscure foreground bokeh if focusing at a further distance! Its really bizarre but cool.

The lens has the typical richness in the way of color rendition for a Leitz lens, with some very creamy bokeh - almost has a brushstroke type of bokeh.

Distortion levels seem to be handled excellently too.

There is a glow on subjects near the focal point, almost like a halo effect. The lens isnt that sharp, but this isnt a lens you buy for sharpness 😅

It has a personality, it wants to be shown off and used artistically in most cases imho.
