Mid Century Rosewood Dining Table from H. Sigh & Son, Denmark, 1960s

Willy Sigh’s model 180 ‘Tree Leg’ dining table manufactured by H. Sigh & Søn in the late 1960s. It was presented in the Børge Søndergaard catalogue and instantly became a success due to its remarkably eye catching and unique organic leg design. The table arguably drew its influence from Helge Vestergaard Jensens ‘Grand table’ in the late 1950s, and is often miss attributed.

These tables are exceptionally rare, and understandably highly sought after.

Please note, the extension leaf is not present with the table. This has no visual impact on the table when closed. The table mechanism still opens if required, but the leaf is not present.

The table seats 6-8 people when closed.
