The new mini album from the series about the most outstanding Polish poster artists deals with the work of Franciszek Starowieyski, graphic artist, painter, cartoonist, set designer and performer.

Starowieyski designed more than three hundred outstanding posters, most of which were made for film, theater and festivals. Created with a clear inspiration from Baroque art, his works represent a kind of combination of realism and surrealism and sensuality and transience, astonishing with their message and delighting with their heterogeneous form.

Starowieyski has been awarded many times, including the Grand Prix at the São Paulo Biennale of Contemporary Art (1973), the Grand Prix for a film poster at the Cannes Film Festival (1974) and the Grand Prix at the Paris International Festival (1975).

This mini album, developed by Dorota Folga-Januszewska, presents 60 of the artist's most famous posters.
