The speedo head floats easily when the gauge is lightly twisted.

I have not tested the odometer as I'm guessing you will be opening the case to clean and refurbish the mechanism.

Note the lead anti-tamper seal on the back. I haven't seen that before. Looks like it may be embossed with the FORD logo.
