We know a list of specifications isn’t always clear so please see our rough guide below explaining how the specifications translate into everyday use. Useful Processor Information
- Intel core I3 is perfect for basic computing internet browsing, responding to emails etc. but will struggle to run several programmes at once or play games.
- Intel core I5 is great for office and schoolwork. You’ll be able to comfortably run multiple internet browsing tabs and office programmes at the same time, play basic games and stream music and videos.
- Intel core I7 has all of the capability of an i5 but faster and smoother. Perfect if you need to run more demanding programmes, juggle multiple office programmes or play more demanding games (You’ll also need to check the specific graphics requirements - see GPU below for more information about this)
i.e., i7-4600U = 4th gen. i5-6300U = 6th gen.
The higher the generation number the newer the machine is.
Useful Hard Drive Information
The larger the hard drive the more space you’ll have to store Photos, Videos and Documents.
- HDD means the laptop has a standard hard drive installed – Usually 500GB plus so plenty of storage space.
- SSD or NVME means the laptop has a Solid-state drive - Generally these have less storage space but have noticeably faster loading speeds.
- 4GB is great for basic computing, Internet browsing, Checking emails etc.
- 8GB for general school and office work, Spreadsheets and Word processing and playing basic games.
- 16GB+ if you need to run multiple or more challenging programmes such as design or production programmes or more high spec games (this tends to include newer larger
games).
Most laptops have integrated graphics i.e., its built into the machine
The GPU will say something along the lines of Intel HD graphics xxx. Integrated graphics are perfectly capable of running most programmes.
If you’re looking to run more demanding programmes such as high spec games, professional photo/video editing or graphic design programmes you may need a laptop with a dedicated graphics card. Be sure to check the minimum requirements of the programme you want to run on the developer’s website.

Each device is then cleaned, using anti-bacterial wipes to ensure all bio hazardous material are removed and then, they are packed to ensure they are kept safe and secure during transport with environmentally friendly packaging.
We are a highly certified, accredited and environmentally focused business and we very much promote the circular economy and do everything we can to re-use devices that our customers no longer require.
Everything we do is focused on re-use and we even re-use packaging and other material to ensure nothing from our site goes to landfill from an IT point of view.
Within the UK we ship the next working day following your order via DPD 24 hour courier service.
For smaller items we also use royal mail 3-5 working day delivery.

Change of mind
If you have ordered the wrong item by mistake or have changed your mind we are happy to accept the item back and issue you a full refund.
All we ask is that you inform us of your intention to return the item within 14 days of receiving it, Return the item in its original condition and cover the return postage costs yourself.
Faulty within 0-30 days
We try our best to make sure things run smoothly however sometimes things do go wrong.
If the item is faulty please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a return or exchange for you. In these instances, we will cover any return postage costs.
Faulty 30 -90 Days
Unless otherwise stated we include a 3 month warranty on our items. Please contact us so to arrange a repair or exchange.
We would not look to cover any postage or packaging costs associated.
We record the serial number of all items prior to shipping to be able to identify them for warranty purposes.
Damaged on delivery
We MUST be notified of damaged goods within 24 hours of receipt.
If the outer packaging appears damaged please either refuse the delivery or take photos of the outer packaging before opening the parcel.
Please report any damage to the item to us within 24 hours or receipt with images of the damage to the item and any packaging.
VAT
All of our prices include UK VAT.
A VAT invoice can be provided upon request.
As eBay only holds purchase details for 90 days please contact us within 90 days of your purchase to request this.
