What’s the function of a MAF sensor?
A MAF sensor monitors the temperature and weight of air entering your engine. Your onboard computer needs that information to calculate the right amount of fuel for all engine operating conditions.
How a MAF sensor works?
When air from the outside enters the engine, there is a component called the mass air flow sensor which detects the mass of this air. Once the air flow mass is calculated, the sensor sends this information to the engine control unit.
